Medx Laser Therapy Home Unit Patient

MedXHOME is a compact light device designed to offer the user a fast and effective solution for pain control and tissue repair.

The MedXHOME System has been developed to offer a home use option for patients while maintaining careful monitoring and treatment usage and outcomes

This lightweight and user-friendly system uses hands-free superluminous diode (SLD) technology to administer phototherapy treatments in the comfort of the patient’s home. Protocols are programmed by the clinician using the MedX Treatment Guide which outlines accurate protocols and settings for over 65 common ailments. A maximum of five different treatments can be programmed into the System at one time. The number of days for use is set by the clinician to ensure the system and the patient return to the clinic. The System set-up is quick and easy and makes preparing for treatments simple.

It is set up to be used by both the practitioner and staff or to be programmed and taken home by the patient.

Light therapy is a non-heating method of delivering an even distribution of energy for many applications.

Both low level laser and light therapy devices have been used for decades demonstrating world wide clinical success and safety.

The compact, lightweight design and simple set up makes MedXHOME fast and easy to use for a wide range of conditions. Once programmed, the MedXHOME can be started and held in position by the patient.

Revenue for Clinicians

MedXHOME is a supplement to the MedX Phototherapy Products. It can be used as an additional revenue stream with the return exceeding the original investment within the first month of renting the System to patients. The System comes in a practical carrying case with supporting educational documentation for both clinician and patient. FDA cleared (K050022 – May 2005).

Renting MedXHOME expands the effects of light therapy beyond the office. The device can be programmed specifically for the individual needs of the patient. Innovative options allow you to set the number of days the unit will function to ensure return of the unit to the clinic and usage data collected determines adherence to the prescribed protocol.
